I’m feeling confident at court. I’ve done a lot to get my kids back. I miss having the kids at home but at least I see them at school. It breaks my heart when the kids cry and say they want to come home with me.

The Magistrate seems understanding but says he wants me to work out an equitable arrangement. I need to come back in a months’ time to show him what Sam and I have worked out.

I want to scream but don’t want to ruin my chances of getting the kids. I bump into a health worker who suggests I go to the DV Service to get some help.

I can’t believe I have to wait another month for my kids and that I have to see Sam – I need someone to make sure he doesn’t lose his cool and hurt me.
