Abuse Happens
The neighbours heard me pleading and called the Police, who arrive soon after. They see the mark on my face and ask me what happened. I tell them I fell over. They ask where Kai is, and I say I don’t know. They ask more questions, but I don’t tell them what happened. They won’t believe me anyway. They leave.
