It’s impossible to find a job!

I’ve never had a job – just looking after Joe and the kids. No school certificate, never mind a degree and now everything’s about computers. That’s all they want, people who know how to use computers – and that’s not me. Besides, no-one wants to hire a woman on Parole for attempted murder.

Wherever I go, people look at me like I’m dangerous and untrustworthy, or look away like I don’t exist. They don’t know what I’ve been through. They see my criminal history and write me off.
