Women like her need to be grateful for any help they get. She should’ve behaved herself at the refuge and not gotten into more drama. If she just did that and reported what happened to the police, everything would be ok – doesn’t she realise the police would help her again?
Seems to me like she’s making excuses to go back – some women like to be treated badly, as weird as that sounds.
